BSNL will Install 1.12 Lakh Towers Before its 4G Roll out in India
Recently BSNL has announced its upcoming 4G rollout in India, but this telecom company is taking substantial steps to ensure the wide range availability of its 4G services across India. BSNL is arranging to install almost 1.12 lakh new towers in India. Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw mentioned that BSNL is in the process to order 6000 towers on an immediate basis and a total of 1.12 lakh towers are to be installed for better 4G network connectivity and a complete network is developed and designed by only Indian engineers & scientists in India.
A notable point over here is that the telecom minister also added that BSNL-5G technology is under development simultaneously and expected to be ready in the upcoming few months. Ashwini Vaishnaw stated in Lok Sabha - "The 4G telecom network is ready to roll out soon and it is developed in India by Indian engineers and scientists. Our development of the 4G network is being appreciated worldwide,".
He also added about the 5G network in India from BSNL - "But this is a time of technological evaluation and as the 5G is getting ready, 5G will also be available".
