MediaTek Dimensity 8100, Dimensity 8000 Chipsets Launched: 168Hz Refresh Rate Support

MediaTek Dimensity 8100, Dimensity 8000 Chipsets announced on Tuesday, offers Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth v5.3 connectivity. The upgraded version of Dimensity 1200 chipset which was launched last year, MediaTek Dimensity 1300 Soc also launched along with these both chipsets. The chipsets are aimed at the flagship segment and will go head-to-head with Snapdragon 888 SoC. 

1. Both the chipsets come with 4 Cortex-A78 performance cores and 4 Cortex-A55 efficiency cores, along with Mali G610 MC6 GPU. 
2. Both the chipsets are built on a 5nm process and support 5G connectivity. 
3. Performance cores of Dimensity 8100 and Dimensity 8000 offer 2.85GHz and 2.75GHz respectively. 
4. Both chipsets can support up to 168 Hz refresh rate at FHD+ resolution. and will feature HDR10+ video recording at 4K resolution at 60fps.
