Qualcomm has Stopped Selling Products to Russian Companies After US Sanctions
Popularly known for flagship level smartphone processors, Qualcomm has stopped selling its products to Russian Companies to comply with sanctions imposed by US on Russia in response to moscow's invasion in Ukraine. The chipmaker disclosed the action taken by the company in reply to a comment by Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov at microblogging platform in a tweet.
Mykhailo commented- ‘Your products are meant to enrich lives. But now they are still available in Russia, and it inadvertently enables this country to kill thousands of Ukrainians’, In response to this tweet, Qualcomm responded in retweet- “This is incorrect. We have stopped selling products to Russian companies & comply with US sanctions.”
