Ryzen 7 5800X3D, AMD’s Latest Desktop Processor Available from April at $449
The latest Desktop processor for gaming Ryzen 7 5800X3D will be available on April 20 at a price point of $449. The SoC manufacturer proudly declared it as the “world’s fastest gaming desktop processor”. The new Ryzen 7 5800X3D is similar to the original Ryzen 7 5800X in terms of cores, threads, and compatibility with AMD’s AM4 socket. Both have 8 cores, 16 threads, but one major difference. Ryzen 7 5800X3D allows AMD to up the L3 cache from 32MB to 96MB that marks the debut of AMD’s 3D-stacking V-Cache technology. The processor has base clock speed of 3.6GHz and can be booted maximum upto 4.5GHz. According to the brand, the processor can operate up to 900 C temperature and the SoC doesn’t include any builtin Graphics. Here the comparison shows that Ryzen 7 5800X3D is even more powerful than Ryzen 9 5900X in many terms.
